What to look for in a Juniors Soccer Program

When searching for a developmental program for your player, one of the most critical components is finding an organization with a sound philosophy for developing technical and tactical skills that are age appropriate. It is also important to find a coaching staff that has the knowledge and expertise to work with the younger player. An appropriate training program that places your player in a training environment that ensures fun and proper fundamental development is also very important.

ALBION JUNIORS Developmental Academy

Spring 2023 Ages 5-9

The ALBION JUNIORS Developmental Academy offers the pathway for players  to build the technical foundation to thrive at the older ages.

The goal of the program is to continue player development and provide a platform for all ages. That means either moving forward in our developmental programs or graduating into the ALBION SC Brooklyn academy level at the U8 or U9 level. With weekend recreational matches, there are opportunities to have players apply their skills with their friends! 

We have a separate registration on Tuesdays and Thursdays for players at Cadman Plaza. Those players will be a part of our pre-academy program, designed for players who want to go straight into a travel team when the time comes. 

Our courses provide players with:

• Coordination
• Ball Mastery
• 1v1 skills
• Community and Love of the Game

Dates: 

March 27th - June 9th

Week of April 10-14 is off due to Spring Vacation for NYC DOE students. 

Day, Time, and Locations: 

Monday and Wednesday at Red Hook Ball Field #7 - 4:00-5:30pm

Tuesday and Thursday at Cadman Plaza Park - 4:00-5:30pm

School Pickup:

Pickup will be organized at PS 58 for Red Hook Ball Fields on Monday and Wednesday.
