I am thrilled to announce that ALBION SC BROOKLYN has been awarded a franchise in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), commencing in the Spring of 2024. This is a significant milestone for our club, as it provides an exceptional platform to not only highlight the talent of players in Brooklyn and New York City but also to showcase our distinctive development philosophy and player pathway.

The UPSL offers a unique opportunity for our club's first team by endorsing inclusive player development models and approaches on both regional and national levels. This allows our players to gain exposure and advance their playing careers, whether they aspire to pursue collegiate opportunities, semi-professional endeavors, or even a pathway to professional environments.

At ALBION SC BROOKLYN, our mission is to offer diverse player development pathways to all members of our community. With the addition of UPSL, we now have a comprehensive club model that caters to players of all ages, ensuring they have a place to thrive and pursue their soccer ambitions.

We are incredibly excited about this new chapter and look forward to the opportunities it will bring for our players and our community.

JOSH SHERRON, UPSL FIRST TEAM HEAD COACH

Joshua Sherron joins Albion SC, Brooklyn as Head Coach to take an integral role in the conceptualization of the Red Hook based UPSL team.

Coach Josh has defined his career by using soccer as a vehicle to facilitate transformational player development, community enrichment, and social advocacy - applying these principles to develop a culture of success on and off the field. Josh brings with him a reputation of intensity, professionalism, and the ability to compete for and win titles. Josh holds a degree in Media Studies from Seton Hall University as well as Masters Degrees in Education. He has traveled extensively throughout Central and South America, and is currently involved in various soccer based community initiatives. 

We are very excited to have Joshua involved with our Pro Team project and Talent ID for the Club.
